What browser should I use?

When using EdAware it's important to make sure that you select a suitable browser. We currently support the use of EdAware through several browsers. These are:

• Google Chrome (which is recommended)
• Mozilla Firefox
• Microsoft Edge
• Safari

Please make sure you are using on of the above browsers to log in and use EdAware. 

We do not support Internet Explorer because it is not the most secure browser available. If you attempt to login to EdAware using Internet Explorer you will be prompted to use a different browser. 

If you find that your computer automatically opens links in Internet Explorer, you can easily change your computer settings to prevent this. 

On your PC click on Start, search for 'Default Programs', click on this and then select 'Set your default programs'. In the list of applications select one of the recommended browsers (as listed above) and then click 'Set this program as default'. It may also help to speak with your school's IT Technician for advice on the settings of school computers.
