Create Memberships Across Sites in a MAT/District

Administrators with access to the MAT/District level dashboard have the ability to create memberships for staff across the organization. This feature can be advantageous for staff members who are not typically assigned to specific rosters and/or require access to view students across multiple schools.

If you are a MAT/District level administrator for your organization, and you do not have access to the Dashboard, please reach out to Impero Support.

Creating Memberships Across Multiple Sites

Log into backdrop with an Administrator account that has been granted MAT/District Level access.  Locate the "Administration" cog in the primary menu. Choose Staff>Manage Active Staff from secondary menu.
Use the check boxes to the left to select users you want to duplicate across multiple sites. From "Bulk User Actions" at the top, choose "Create Memberships At". Choose correct site from drop down menu, or "All schools within organization". If desired, select the box beside "Assign matching user group" to copy the user's permissions across all sites.

Remember that only users authenticated to view students should be given access to Impero Classroom, Wellbeing and/or Safeguarding. When utilizing this tool, ensure that you maintain compliance with the relevant regional regulations and data privacy laws in your area.
