Adding a medication alert

You can choose to alert a staff member automatically before any medications are due to be administered.

To do this, head to the Administration tab, select Medication Alerts from the left-hand menu under School Settings.

Click on Add and you can select the staff member you wish to be alerted, and when to alert them (15 minutes before medication is due, 5 minutes before medication is due, or both). If the medication alert is not acted upon after the first alert, the second alert is sent.

Once this has been saved, the selected staff members will appear in two lists - one for the first alert, and one for the second alert. If a staff member has been selected to receive both alerts, they are displayed in both lists.
