Minimum System Requirements for Installation – Customer Portal

Getting started with EdLink is quick and easy. Below are some steps you should take prior to install to ensure it all goes smoothly.

Network pre-requisites

Ensure that the following is configured ahead of your installation with Impero:

An 802.11 wireless network is open or using a Pre-Shared Key (PSK)
If you use a SSL-inspecting proxy, add a temporary network without SSL interception to configure tablets
Ensure consistent connectivity and sufficient bandwidth is available for any initial deployment of apps
Apply the following rules to your firewall, filter and/or a proxy:

All iOS enrolment can be addressed during the installation.

Android

For managing Android devices, the following will be needed:

Android version 6 or higher
A Google Account to download the EdLink Application from the Play Store.
An 802.11 wireless network that is open or using a Pre-Shared Key (PSK) and compatible with your tablets/phones
Access to the below domains:

Note: Specific applications may have additional requirements.

Chromebooks

For managing Chromebooks, the following will be needed:

Google Apps for Education for your domain
A unique Google Apps for Education account for each tablet
An 802.11 wireless network that is open or using a Pre-Shared Key (PSK) and compatible with your tablets
Access to the below domains:
