Due to recent policy changes from Google concerning web store listings, From today (25th November 2020) we will be removing many old and duplicated extension from our Google Web Store.
This action will prevent these items from being installed in the future.

If you are using the Impero Education Pro application and extension for ChromeOS devices you will need to be running our latest release. If you are running an older version or are not sure then please contact Impero support for assistance with upgrading.

We have provided some steps below that you can perform to ensure you are running the correct extension versions


If you are using the Impero Education Pro extension to monitor the Chrome Browser on Windows and Mac device, please update to use the following extension

Due to the changes Google are forcing down to us, we can no longer list multiple versions of our Education Pro extensions. This means all customer will need to move to a single extension listing. We will continually update this listing with the latest release which all customers will automatically get.

This has always been a problem for us as the Impero Server is version dependant, if the client and server versions don’t match then the system doesn’t operate correctly. If our listing in the Chrome web store moves ahead of the version you have running on your server then customers can encounter a lose of certain services and features.

To combat this scenario we have scheduled development work to allow the Impero Server to support newer version of the ChromeOS client connecting which will remove this limitation from the system.

It is important to clarify, This change is for ChromeOS only. Windows, Mac and iOS clients will still need to match server versions for the system to operate correctly.
