Logout device allows a teacher in Impero class:room to remotely logout a student from a device. This action will remove the student from the class until they log back in. As supported operating systems behave differently with regards to users this feature will perform different actions depending on the device type a user is logged into.
Below is a break down of how this feature behaves on the various device platforms.
Windows – The Windows user is logged out of the device and disconnected from Impero class:room.
Android – The Android user is logged out of the Impero app and disconnected from Impero class:room.
iOS – The iOS user is logged out of the Impero app and disconnected from Impero class:room.
ChromeOS – unsupported.
How to use logout devices
- Select the device you wish to logout from the classroom view.
- Click the “Logout Devices” action button from the right side menu.
- As this action disconnect the device from Impero class:room you will no longer be able to see the device screen until the student logs back in. Below are the screens the various platforms will display after performing this action.
The student is logged out of the device and returned to the default Windows login screen.
