Impero class:room offers various levels of integration with Google Classroom, but what does that mean? This document covers what these levels of Integration offer and includes links to specific instructions on how to setup the right Google Classroom integration for you.

Google Classroom allows administrator to create classes of students and assign them to other staff members such as teachers. These other users can also create their own classes and invite students via email within the schools Google domain to participate.

Level 1 Integration - Groups only

This integration offers the ability to import groups created for Google Classroom directly into Impero class:room for use as teaching groups. This integration assumes that the students and teachers linked to the group are already present within Impero class:room. Once setup the system performs an automated daily sync with Google Classroom.
A guide on how to get setup can be found below.

Level 2 Integration - Full school setup with Google Classroom

This integration is designed to allow schools to be setup entirely using Google Classroom. Rather than using an MIS/SIS connection the Level 2 Google Classroom integration will import the student and staff users and add them to the system. It will also import any groups created for these students for use as teaching groups in Impero class:room. Once setup the system performs an automated daily sync with Google Classroom.
